I started making my own candles for a couple of reasons.   The Bad Kitty and I burn a huge amount of them here at home, and  making my own candles gave me a creative outlet when I had to give up most of my creative pursuits due to a vision impairment.  (Hey at least I can still flog a flea off someone’s ear *wink) 

 

Friends and acquaintances started asking me to make some for their playrooms and dungeons and even for vanilla purposes!  So I thought hey...why not offer them here to House of New Horizon guests.

 

The candles you will receive are all hand made, burn well and last for a long time. These will not burn out in just a few hours. They’re specialty shop quality with discount store prices. 

 

A portion of the proceeds of these candles will be donated to the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom to aid in their work fighting for our right to live as we choose.

 

Disclaimer time:  These candles have a 145 degree melt point.  They are not appropriate for wax play.  I will be working on a cooler melt candle in the not too distant future.

 

Candles are available as votives, with or without glass votive holders, and in pillars measuring 2” diameter by approximately 6” high.  The following are the current colors:

I’m working on leather scented candles.  Right now, only the white is up to the quality I want to offer.  If you would like your votive or pillar candles leather scented, please indicate White Leather in the comments box.
